Finally 2012 is upon us (almost) and we will know for sure whether we, humans, will exist at the end of the year or not. Prophecies and predictions apart, 2012 promises to be a exciting year with lots and lots of changes in store – some good and some bad and some that has the potential to become super bad.
Many of us in the photosphere turn our thoughts to the changes we wish would come true in the New Year ahead. In this regard, we would like to make one wish that no matter what future bring to us but lets create a beautiful and productive world around us. May god cherish each one of us and help us to get our desired goals in life with good health . In the meantime Wish you and your Family a Happy and Prosperous NEW YEAR 2012!!!!!

we've seen people from high and low-
both solid rocks and with-the-flow;
sober saints and turned-on freaks:
but eeks! he's from breeks!

we've seen super i.q. chinese girls,
lithe,winsome figures with tossed up curls
text book crammers and science lab geeks:
but eeks! he's from breeks!

we've had over aged athletes
who were banned from competing -
cupid's love children
who were barred from even meeting.
vigilant house wardens who plugged all the leaks:
but eeks! he's from breeks.

where are the stanesman
when the world seems to need one,
llew caught the last train out
into the twilight sun.
where's the boat? where's the paddle...
to get out of this creek?

Feb 2006 was when we started. Feb 2011 was a repeat of 2010, saw the least number of comments. Time takes its toll on everything. March is a cruel month in India because of the rising temperature, water shortage, and year ending financial operations. Pranabda has also not sprung any surprises this budget.

APRIL FOOL GO TO SCHOOL,
TELL YOUR TEACHER, THAT YOU'RE A BIG FAT FOOL.

There was no political correctness in the 60's. The term "big-fat" never existed then. A spade was called a spade! Those who had front teeth angled outwards (excessive overbite) were called "Coxy"! Timid guys were called "Pusky"! Stingy guys were called "Marwadi Kanjuse!(My apologies to the Marwadi community). Girlish guys were called Pottais!(My apologies to the girls). My elder brother who was rather plump, was called "Fatty Bumbalatti"! Those who carried tales to teachers were called "sneakers"! Our chairman Mr. Enwright was called "Murclick"!Perhaps some of you can add some more derogatory terms that were in use.

Hi every one PLEASE HELP ME FIND MR DENNIS WINDERS
When I was in Class 9, my dad was undergoing a very bad phase in life, that is when some of our teachers like Mrs Rajan, Mrs Abraham, Mrs Harshavardhana amongst others (Gideon played a big role also)guided my father and helped initiate my application for a sponsor. This resulted in a sponsor being found for me through CCF,
A kindly person called Mr Dennis Winders came forward and sponsored me for class 9-11, I am posting his picture taken on his wedding with Ms Lori at Seattle in 78.
During 1976-78 he worked for Pizza Hut in Seattle. As per people search there is a Mr Dennis Winders in Seattle however I have not been able to get his email or tele id
Hope some of our school mates in the US especially WA would be able to get in touch with this great person and forward his email id to me at shivats@gmail.com

After my Siachen Tenure where I was at 22309 Ft this is the next highest I have been( I didnot go beyond Summit Camp 6455 m)

Hi This is the NCC Girls Mountaineering Expedition I led in 2004 to Manali and ShitidharPeak in Himachal Pradesh. The first successful Women's Expedition to Scale Manali Peak in Mountaineering History
I went upto Shitidhar Peak( Ps the Basic Mountaineering Course at MAS Manali Climbs to this peak as part of training- Altitude Gain)
