we've seen people from high and low-
both solid rocks and with-the-flow;
sober saints and turned-on freaks:
but eeks! he's from breeks!

we've seen super i.q. chinese girls,
lithe,winsome figures with tossed up curls
text book crammers and science lab geeks:
but eeks! he's from breeks!

we've had over aged athletes
who were banned from competing -
cupid's love children
who were barred from even meeting.
vigilant house wardens who plugged all the leaks:
but eeks! he's from breeks.

where are the stanesman
when the world seems to need one,
llew caught the last train out
into the twilight sun.
where's the boat? where's the paddle...
to get out of this creek?
eeks! he's from breeks.
