We come to the end of the year. With Christmas around the corner, we do have many waiting for the Year to get over.

November 2023 has been quite an happening month, the ambitious Char Dham circuit road in Uttarakhand was in the news with an ambitious tunnel collapsing and the trapped workers being rescued after 17 Days after machines collapsed and Rat Mining had to be resorted to.
Nearer home we had Heavy rain and landslides hit traffic on the Kotagiri-Mettupalayam Road as well as on the Coonoor -Mettupalayam Road. Trees fell on the road. Traffic on the road was hit. The Nilgiris district administration worked swiftly to clear the roads.
