December 2016 was a eventful month with the blog getting 8 posts. India recovers sluggishly after the 8 November Demonetization, passing away of Ms Jayalalithaa, chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Christopher Peacock and others.  With a new New Year, New Resolutions, we begin yet another inning with renewed Resilience.

With Children's day around, we look forward to updates from the school on the celebrations. The Alumni Association Annual General Body Meeting is planned for 11 November 2016 at the School Library, kindly attend.
Minnie Tensingh has published a book, Mischief in the Mountains, which takes you back to the late 60s and early 70s in Coonoor.

Alumni Bloggers our friends in the Western and Southern Hemisphere are about to set their clocks behind by an hour, here goes our clocking for the next innings...Winter is just going to show her cold fingers around, skies and sledges and the snow clearing equipment get waxed and oiled, we wait for hidden stories and Yarns of yesteryears . August is around, Autumn sets her brown eyes on the world The Monsoon clouds play their magic, torrential rains in some parts with accompanying floods and regular woes in some parts, Many Areas in the country hit by Cyclones and torrential rains... Our Alumni Association has been very active back in Coonoor, lots of activities reported on facebook.
