We begin October 2024 with monsoons withdrawing gradually from the country with mixed results, the north has had more than the regular share of the rains and parts limping back after devastation due to landslides and floods, the south does have a deficit of rains but has had its share of devastation and floods, Wayanad had been badly hit and now on the path to recovery, Coonoor has not been spared, the landslides have claimed many lives including that of an Alumni's wife.
Alumni Bloggers our friends in the Western and Southern Hemisphere are about to set their clocks behind by an hour, here goes our clocking for the next innings...Winter is just going to show her cold fingers around, skies and sledges and the snow clearing equipment get waxed and oiled, we wait for hidden stories and Yarns of yesteryears .
