Another month . One Blogger, 6 comments. Can we buck the trend.
The last one month has seen some of our favourite folks moving to a better world.
Mrs. J. M. Samson passed away on 16th May 2016. She will be fondly remembered by the Stanes family. She served the School for 36 long years from 1952 to 1988. She was known for her discipline and commitment. She was a primary teacher and served the ICSE section for 5 years. Scores of Stanites had went to honour her at her funeral. 
Mr I J Mammen, who served the school from 1971 to 1989 passed away in Vellore on 03 June 2016. Mr Mammen, an enterprising person, managed the school office and was known for his ever helping attitude and bright smile. Many of us would remember for his soothing voice and loving nature. He will be fondly remembered by the Stanes family.
 Junes here, publishing our blog with new contemporary themes-lets spend more time on the blog.The Monsoon clouds are around, Kerala has started getting rains in abundance,  Bangalore has been treated to some unprecedented showers and development woes...Coonoor is not far behind but the dams are still to fill up.. ...Do we have more bloggers coming in or only the faithful five keeping the blog rolling?

April 2016 Posts

Another year . We have had a fairly poor run the last month with 8 comments , we miss most bloggers, thanks ye faithful men who have kept the flow, ...We in Bangalore are faced with a harsh summer, Coonoor also faces yet another harsh summer and awaits the influx of tourists to trample all over .

Chennai started with a extremely successful Alumni Meet, thanks George, Immanual and all the faithful Stanites who contributed their mite to get the meet going, we also acknowledge the spirit of alumni who joined from overseas and outside Chennai to be a part of the bash. Do the Mumbaikars and Puneris hear this. Are u taking the next turn of someone plans to beat you... are u all listening.

A WhatsApp initiative to help refresh the furniture in the school had gained momentum but with the poor response in terms of approved models and vendors and numbers required by the school, there seems to be a lull. We hope the storm of support will flood the school this month once the Princi is free from his other commitments.

December
Another month with the blog getting 13 hits. With Christmas around the corner, we do have many waiting for the long vacations and trips into warmer pastures or colder hills are planned. The alumni association has been working with added vigour with the new committee building and strengthening the bridges with the school. A positive note from the Principal, we are getting linked to the official school website with our own page. Charles would update each Alumni by a personal email.
