It's August 2022 and we the pandemic wanes. Tamilnadu has has started limping back to normal. The Monsoon clouds are around, Fairly heavy rains in the country with connected devastation in many places. Offices in most cities open, however, threats of another variant and monkey fever loom in the horizon.

 Another Stanite does us proud again, T Swathi Sree who cracked the civil services exams last year with 126th Rank and allotted IRS has again cracked the exams this year as the state Topper ranking 42nd in all India Merit. Congrats Swathi Sree

The Blog Completes one more Year and we begin our blogs for February 2022

February, another new month,  look forward to our bloggers wooing their Valentines, month for some of our silent visitors to come out of the closet and mark their attendance....  On January, 17, 2021, we started our whatsapp group as Stanes High School-Global and a proud moment for us with many Alumni coming together. The group is almost full with representation from around 1955 onwards.

A proud update, Stanes Had been trying to expand its premises towards Ritz since 1971, however, Kudos to the current Council and the Principal Mr Glenn Corning, about 52 cents of Ritz land has now become part of the Stanes School Property. Hopefully the Flats get straightened and the much awaited expansion of the classes commence soon.

January 2022 Posts

January 2022

December 2021 was an uneventful month with the blog getting 0 posts. 
The Pandemic had most of the year closed with the economy picking up a wee bit and the year ending with sensex soaring at 50K

Stanes High School WhatsApp group has rekindled interest with a cross section of students logging in, hope the tempo sustains. Some memories have revived. Finally the school has acquired about 51 Acres of Land from Ritz. The Iconic Ritz is being razed to the ground and hopefully a suitable edifice would come up since it is taken over by a group led by an alumni.
