✨ September 2026 – New Beginnings, New Challenges ✨

The monsoon of 2026 has been intense across India. While several regions enjoyed steady rainfall, others faced severe flooding and landslides. Bangalore experienced intermittent waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and scattered power outages — thankfully not as severe as the 2025 floods.

🇳🇵 Nepal Floods – 26 August 2026

Nepal witnessed one of its worst natural disasters in recent years when catastrophic floods struck on 26 August 2026. Cloudbursts and glacial lake overflow submerged entire valleys, washed away bridges, and cut off major highways. Rescue teams from India, Bhutan, and international agencies worked round the clock to reach stranded families.

🌍 Middle East Roundup – Gulf of Hormuz Tensions

The Gulf of Hormuz remained a global flashpoint throughout 2026. Naval standoffs, drone interceptions, and disruptions to commercial shipping created volatility in international energy markets. Several nations issued advisories for vessels passing through the narrow strait, while diplomatic channels worked overtime to stabilize the region.
